The house, located on a sloping site with the entrance on the top part, used to be a summer house built in the 1970s, with a total area of 240sq.m. The wild landscape and the stunning views of the sea were taken into consideration by the design team to upgrade the design to the maximum standards of the new owner. The small existing windows were replaced by larger openings and windows with a minimal frame to maximize the views. On the ground floor, the kitchen is opened into the living room and the fireplace is replaced with a modern Hydro energy Fireplace. The personnel room is designed with an en-suite bathroom and the two bedrooms were fully redesigned to share a bathroom and access to the main terrace, overlooking the sea. On the first floor, the master bedroom was designed with an en-suite bathroom and a private terrace.
The swimming pool was placed on the lower part of the site, to be close to the gym and wellness area, which we designed in the existing basement.
