The house, located on a sloping site with the entrance on the top part, used to be a summer house built in the 1970s, with a total area of 120sq.m. After many years of abandonment, the owner decided to go to a full renovation and energy upgrade.
Our proposal aimed to create a modern living space with an open plan kitchen, two bedrooms, and a shared bathroom. We redesigned the external facade and canopy in such a way that the structure will be protected from direct sunlight and wind while maintaining the views of the sea. The basement was an incomplete storage area, which gave us the opportunity to transform it into a guest house or an extra small apartment with a kitchenette and a small bathroom. The swimming pool was placed on the lower level of the garden to provide extra space for landscaping on the front area of the site.
